Vintage Indian Grinder Table

Traditional Northern Indian chakki grinder tables are a treasure that we return to season after season. They were customarily used in Indian havelis to grind grain into chakki atta flour to make chipati or roti bread for the whole family. Each is crafted from solid teak and has been intricately hand carved. The beautiful carvings will differ from one chakki grinder to the next as these items were unique to each household and each family. In your home, use it as a serving tray topped with artful glassware or as a catch-all for your jewellery and precious trinkets.
